On Saturday 5 October, the open day of Amsterdam Science Park will take place, as part of the Weekend van de Wetenschap. Companies and research institutes at the Science Park open their doors to interested parties.

Have you always wondered what research happens at the Faculty of Science? At Science Park 904, visitors can attend guided tours, workshops and demonstrations. From driving a robot yourself to a tour of the planetarium, and from a demonstration about the formation of tornados to an algae disco. This event is free to visit for young and old, registration is not necessary. For more information and the entire program, visit the website.
SILS will contribute with a VR experience to find microbes around roots and an information market where you can learn more about the research ongoing in SILS. There will also be a practical where you can learn to isolate DNA from fruit yourself.
