Education at SILS

SILS staff contributes to various Bachelor and Master programmes and is involved in supervising (internship) projects in the field of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Earth and Environmental Sciences. Since SILS is a research institute, we are not coordinating these programmes. Internships

We are a broad research institute with many different research groups. Because of this, the research groups manage student placement themselves. If you are looking for an internship position or student project, please contact the research groups directly by contacting the involved PI or group leader. 

PhD positions

As a PhD candidate you are an employee of the university. More information about obtaining a PhD at the UvA can be found here on the UvA site.

Science Park Study Group

SILS researchers have formed the Amsterdam Science Park Study Group, dedicated to building a community of researchers who perform computational data analysis as part of their academic work.
